Acrobatic Dance - Gymnastics

With inspiration from gymnastic floor work and rhythmic gymnastics, this dance style incorporates acrobatic movement into elegant flowing routines, with creative, expressive lifts and poses. Requiring strength, flexibility and technique, Acrobatic Dance produces inspiring performances.

We follow the Acrobatic Arts and IDTA Acrobatic Dance Syllabus. Dancers who train with us have a balanced development, are stronger, more flexible and fearless.  Our dancers have more skills, have fewer accidents, and are less likely to develop chronic injuries.

We advise dancers to train in at least 1 dance genre to complement their Acro training and progress a little quicker, however, we also welcome those who want to attend Acro alone. 

Our Acro classes are available for children and teenagers. Classes are available for all abilities and levels and we regularly assess our students to ensure they are in the correct class for their progress. Acrobatic & Gymnastic classes at Terri Jayne Theatre Arts in Lightwater are fun and engaging, the perfect combination for progress and success.
