CELEBRATING 30 YEARS

The Terri Jayne Theatre Arts was established by Terri Bowen in April 1992 in Lightwater Country Park with 4 pupils turning up on its first day. An early reputation developed for high standards of teaching and in providing a wide range of performing opportunities for all, as well as being known as a friendly and family focused school. As a result, the school grew rapidly and now teaches children and adults from all of the surrounding areas within Surrey such as Bisley, West End, Frimley, Knaphill, Mindenhurst, Bagshot, Chobham, Windlesham, Sunningdale, Sunninghill, Deepcut and Camberley.

Our classes

Established Dance School with qualified and experienced teachers offering classes for children and adults.

Classical Ballet

Classical ballet is the foundation for all dance. It is a valuable addition to all other genres of dance.

Modern & Theatre Craft

Stretching, body conditioning, focus on kicks, leaps, turns and dance routines.

Tap

This exciting genre teaches rhythm and musicality using the feet as an instrument.

Acrobatic Dance

Includes balancing, limbering and tumbling, and now also Aerial Arts as well!!

Contemporary & Jazz

A style of dance that is very free, very technical and strength orientated.

Street Dance

Urban styles including Street, Hip Hop, Commercial. Boys Only Street Dance is available.

Adult Classes are available in Tap, Lyrical Ballet and our fast moving Modern Jazz. All are suitable for beginners and Improvers.

Private Lessons

Individual 1:1 classes in singing and dance. A chance for our students to receive private tuition with their teacher.

Studio Hire

Our Lightwater dance studios are available to hire. We have two professional dance studios that are available for external company's to hire. Both are floored with Harlequin sprung floors, walled with mirrors and ballet barres, are fully air-conditioned and have 4 rigging points for the use of aerial hoops or silks.
