With inspiration from gymnastic floor work and rhythmic gymnastics, this dance style incorporates acrobatic movement into elegant flowing routines, with creative, expressive lifts and poses. Requiring strength, flexibility and technique, Gymnastic Dance produces inspiring performances for the dancer and audience. We follow the Acrobatic Arts and IDTA Acrobatic Dance Syllabus and Dancers who train with us have a balanced development, are stronger, more flexible and fearless. Our dancers have more skills, have fewer accidents, and are less likely to develop chronic injuries. We advise dancers to train in at least 1 dance genre to complement their Acro training and progress a little quicker, however, we also welcome those who want to attend Acro alone.
